A step towards some change

I am a very simple egyptian girl, who is not satisfied somehow with her society and feels like this specific society deserves more than it gets, and can be the best with little more effort and much more frankness and persistance. "If you don't like something, change it. If you can't change it, change your attitude. Don't complain."(Maya Angelou)

All men are pimps and all women prostitutes!!!!!!!!!

A very disgusting phenomenon that started to invade our "pious" society; too many men bulling and irritating women all over. The surprizing fact for those who may face this problem for the first time is that most of those "pimps",excuse me for calling them so but they can't be anything else, are middle aged to old men and that what really makes it more disgusting. If the elders of the society can't control their sexual appetite, how could they give good example for their children or nephews???
Such pimps can't even simply differentiate between good or bad. They don't let any single girl in the street without bulling, giving some comments or even parking their own cars for the girls or women (may be married too) to ride beside them. How disgusting can such behaviour be for both men (normal ofcourse if they still exist) and respectable women (who really deserve to be respected).
I know that many men may defend themselves by accusing girls that they provoke their eyes and so their tongues can't be silent. My answer for those would be in one question: Why on earth would any man humiliate girls or women (if they didn't do any provocative action)????
Why do most of those pimps insist on considering all female species as PROSTITUTES?????????????

Meditation

* Human relations are so difficult and twisted. Once you love someone you may lose that person. But when you hate anybody, know for sure that you are obliged to act nicely with that "one".
* Sometimes it's better for certain type of humans to deal with animals rather than their fellow humans!!!! Because either those humans are incapable of dealing with humans or that animals suddenly became more honest than their fellow humans!!!
* Life sucks, nothing is easy, there are no real friends in this world.... so what deal with it and move on ... nothing is perfect...
* You would better live your moment thinking, trying to improve and finding your own "path" rather than lamenting the loss of time and direction.
* It will take so many failures to find your success, but once you find it all your failures are turned into memories and experiances.
* Never try to ignore your past painful memories, because they will always remain a part of your being.
* True love is very rare once it hits your heart, it rips it out of your chest send it all over the world and get it back to you. Only then you'll know its true love.
* Death is very sly try to live as much valuable moments as you can with people you love, because once death comes you can't get the lost moments back but you can remember the good ones forever. Never lose your time over people you don't care about much.
* Parents are the most devoted people you'd ever meet in your world and their devotedness are only for you, so don't lose it.
* There is no harm every once in a while to shed some tears over some stupid desicions you took or regret.

transportation or Mental Retardation!!!!!

It's really very hard to talk about transportation in Egypt. Should I be talking about the rush hours that exceeded 2 hours in every morning and 4 hours at noon?? Or should I be talking about the increase of these hours to become the whole day long in Ramadan?? Or to speak about the shortage of the accesable means of transportation?? Or about the ridiculous attitude of people in those means??
Actually its a whole bunch of problems gathered in one big bomb shell called "transportation". The simple Egyptian who can't actually afford to ride the, so called luxurious, buses that cost 1.50 L.E. for the ticket, this miserable man should wait for the bus that only comes every 2 hours -at least -carrying double its actual capacity or more. Even if he made his way through this social cuddling, he can never make sure that he'll get out of it sound and safe without any losses( I guess those who use those buses know what I mean).
Girls could hardly live such experiance without any losses that may be at least psychological ones. The none cooperative attitude for the male passangers make it hard as hell to get on these buses without fighting, pushing or even cursing. People even lost their simplest principals that we used to learn when we were young students. One can really be surprized to see how the young deal with spaces and seats from the "I came first" prespective, ignoring all the traditions and simple rules of decency. Those rules that we used to hear and read in our books about respecting the old, women, young children and have mercy on the weak, I know that some would say such ideals doesn't exist anymore............Unfortunately , yes it doesn't anymore.......But not for me... or for my children that shall live better life than that we are living...
If we started to respect everybody around and stopped for a moment from being selfish just for the sake of seeking better life. I guess we shall then progress.
As long as they can't increase the numbers of buses at least through rush hours, as long as they can't be honest about the "special" service that is not special at all, and as long as they wont improve their nasty service for the poor people, I just hope that we help each other, at least, because we are all facing the same problem.
